Faith Factory Kids Ministry

Children's Director, Debbi Durkee

What is the purpose of our children's ministry?

Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and in partnership with parents, we will faithfully teach the gospel and demonstrate the love of Christ to all children so they will become disciples of Christ who trust, serve, worship and obey Him now and into eternity to the glory of God, the Father.

At Laurel Wesleyan Church we care about the safety and protection of your children. All staff, youth, and children's leaders are required to complete a background check through Protect My Ministry.

This past year has been a different kind of year to say the least - at times it has been a challenge. As a leader, I felt the need to rise to the challenge of reaching kids in a new way. There were opportunities to learn, to succeed and to grow.

I found this past year to be a great time to let the children see us putting into practice what we share with them in our teaching... In Philippians 4 it says, "Do not worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done." And we moved forward, slowly and carefully because of the times we were in, but still forward asking God for guidance. Now we continue that momentum as we plan for the good things to come.

I pray for God's guidance and ask for your prayers as we move forward.

Love and Blessings,

Sunday Mornings at 10:45

Every week there's something new & creative for these young Students to do & learn. Kids learn Bible stories & what it is to have a relationship with Christ! There’s singing, stories, object lessons, and crafts. Children are picked up at the same place they were check in.

Fam Jam

Fam Jam is an exciting way to reach out to families in our community. There are events for families to enjoy quality time with each other.  The nights are filled with food, games, crafts, worship and a great message. The best thing about Fam Jam is that it is all free. We want to give our families opportunities to invite other families to grow, pray, laugh and have fun together.  Fam Jam usually takes place in August each year.
